The BASS LLC-organized Bassmaster Elite Series, one of America’s most popular and well attended four-day fishing events, is set to happen in Green Bay this coming June 28 to July 1, designed to “test some of the best anglers in the nation”.
With 99 participating competitors, the event is forecasted to draw an estimated number of 10,000 spectators, with economic forecasts for local business organizations pegged at more than 1 million USD. The event also highlights featured coverages by the Outdoor Channel and ESPN Network, which says much about how big the event will be.

BASS LLC, whose headquarters is based in Birmingham, Ala, informed Green Bay officers regarding the organization’s decision to hold the Bassmaster Elite Series in the area some weeks earlier. Not surprisingly, Green Bay officials were quite excited about the decision.
Proud in heralding news of event, Green Pay Mayor Jim Schmitt, with local officials and event organizers, made the announcement last Thursday, noting that the event promises to be another milestone which illustrates Green Bay’s diverse interest and capacity for various sports.
“It will show the nation that we truly are Titletown USA,” expressed Schmitt, during the event’s official announcement.
Green Bay, as a city, is famed for its sportsmen, notably in the sporting arenas of American Football and Hockey. With the Bassmaster Elite Series set on happening in the area soon, the event stands to be a platform for more fishing-inclined events to-be organized in Green Bay, and promises to be an event where avid fishers of the area can converge and gather.
If you’ll be Gree Bay-bound by the last week of June, stick around for the Bassmaster Elite Series to happen in the area.
